Olympia Business Headshots: Professional Photos for Your Staff
Professional Business Headshots & Staff Photography in Olympia, WA
When someone visits your website for the first time, your photos are often part of their first impression of your business — and for a counseling practice, feeling approachable matters.
I recently photographed this counseling team for a new collection of professional headshots and group photos for their office. The goal wasn’t to create stiff, overly corporate portraits. We wanted images that felt polished and professional, while still showing the warmth and personality of the people behind the practice.
More Than Just a Headshot
Professional headshots show up everywhere — your website, Google Business Profile, social media, marketing materials, professional directories, and anywhere else you or your team represent your business.
For counselors and therapists in particular, a headshot can be one of the first ways a potential client gets a sense of who you are before ever reaching out. A professional photo doesn’t have to feel overly formal to do its job. It can still feel warm, natural, and like you.
Photographing the entire team together also creates consistency across a website. Instead of headshots taken at different times, with different lighting and backgrounds, everyone has a cohesive look that feels intentional.
And while individual headshots are important, I love including group photos too. They give businesses more variety for their website and marketing while helping potential clients see the people behind the practice.
Headshots at Your Olympia Office
One of the easiest ways to update your team’s photos is to bring the photography directly to you.
Photographing everyone at the office means your team doesn’t have to coordinate traveling to a separate studio, and we can create more than just traditional headshots. Depending on your space, we can also photograph the team together and create additional images throughout the office for your website, social media, and other marketing.
This kind of session works well for counseling and therapy practices, medical and dental offices, law firms, real estate teams, nonprofits, and other small businesses throughout Olympia.
Does Your Team Need Updated Photos?
Maybe you’ve added new employees. Maybe you’re building a new website. Or maybe you looked at your current About page and realized everyone’s photo was taken in a different place, at a different time, with a completely different style.
That’s where a team headshot session can make things much easier.

Rachel is great! We’ve had her back to the office 3 times now. And you’d never know that we’ve had our staff pictures taken in different locations. I can send her a quick email and get new staff headshots quickly and easily. A task I used to dread is now seamless.
