“This May, I was planning to propose to my now fiancé, in Portland, and a good friend of me asked if I was going to get a photographer or not. To be honest, I hadn't really thought about it, but after working with Rachel, was so very glad that I did! I found Rachel after posting a wanted listing for a "stealthy photographer able to capture a marriage proposal in Portland". Rachel was one of several photographers who responded, but after impressing me with her website, background, and overall demeanor, it was easy to decide to work with her. She was friendly, upbeat, down to earth, and above all else, truly committed to working closely with me to plan all the details leading up to the big moment of the proposal. Rachel was incredibly helpful and professional, and was more than willing to take on the challenge of secretly following us around and capturing the moment :) As for her photography, she did an incredible job! I popped the question in a wooded area with lots of sun and shade, and Rachel expertly worked her magic to capture all the depth of green around us, while balancing the lighting on what was most important: my overjoyed, now-fiance! Overall, I highly recommend working with Rachel as she was professional, very easy to work with, and took many amazing, once-in-a-lifetime, photos we'll treasure for the rest of our lives!”
